The mobile message service in connection with the John Frieda brand’s Hot Hair Hotline campaign (the "Campaign Mobile Service") is operated by Twilio for the benefit of Kao USA Inc. (“Kao USA”, “we”, or “us”). The following Campaign Mobile Service terms and conditions (the “Mobile Terms”) describe the Campaign Mobile Service and our collection and use of your personal information, which are also subject to our Privacy Policy | Kao Americas Region.
Your use of the Campaign Mobile Service constitutes your agreement to these Mobile Terms and our Privacy Policy | Kao Americas Region. We may modify or cancel the Campaign Mobile Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Campaign Mobile Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
Campaign Mobile Service and Opt-In
By calling the John Frieda brand’s Hot Hair Hotline (1-855-HOT-HAIR) and opting in to receive a campaign promo code via a SMS/text message, you have agreed to receive a one-time SMS/text message from and on behalf of Kao USA (“Campaign Promo Text”) through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Campaign Promo Text may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology.
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this Campaign Promo Text in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase on us.johnfrieda.com. Your participation in this campaign is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Campaign Mobile Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You can opt out from receiving the Campaign Promo Text at any time by replying STOP to the Campaign Promo Text. You may continue to receive text messages for a short period while we process your request and you may receive a one-time opt-out confirmation message. You understand and agree that the foregoing is the only reasonable method of opting out. For support, reply HELP to any mobile message from us.
The Campaign Mobile Service is offered on an “as-is” basis and may not be available in all areas, at all times, or on all mobile providers. You agree that neither we nor our service providers will be liable for any failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any mobile message or information sent through the Campaign Mobile Service.
